The calendar now says October, indicating that one of the year’s biggest holidays is just around the corner.   • 750 g Pumpkin or butternut squash
  • 2 Eggs
  • 140 g Caster sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Icing sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg, fresh
  • 1 Plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 350 g Shortcrust pastry, sweet
  • 25 g Butter
  • 175 ml milk

  • 1 tbsp curry powder (mild or medium, depending on your preference)

  • ½ cup of cream
  • Salt and cracked black pepper
  • Parsley, natural yoghurt, to serve
