Are you taking a weekend trip to Brighton or do you just want to spend a wonderful day here and need some inspiration? Brighton is an extremely versatile city and offers so many things to do. We help you choose some of the best ones here, to take your day off in Brighton!

The Seaside

When you first arrive in Brighton why not head straight to the seaside at beautiful Brighton Beach to relax, watch the waves and take in the salty sea air. Play like a kid on the amusement rides on Brighton Pier, eat candy and hot dogs, or simply take a pleasant stroll along it taking in views of the coastline.  Don’t miss taking a look at the skeleton of the old West Pier which was destroyed by fire back in 2003.

Another thing to do by the Seaside is to glide up the 450 feet of the world’s tallest observation tower. The British Airways i360 offers breathtaking 360- degree views over the city and coastline and is a definite must-do whilst in Brighton.

Fish and Chips

Built up an appetite after all those activities? Then a perfect and affordable meal is to eat fish and chips on the beach.  Just be careful the seagulls don’t try to pilfer your tasty lunch!

The Royal Pavilion

Of course, you have to explore the Royal Pavilion for which Brighton is famous for. The opulent palace from the 18th century is stunning and one of the only places in Brighton where you can discover Eastern influence. You can wander the impressive palace from the inside and spend some time outside in the gardens and admire the beautiful array of flower beds or sprawl out on the vast lawns to make a picnic. For your slice of history, The Royal Pavilion in Brighton is a truly memorable and worthwhile place to visit.

Shopping in the Lanes

By strolling through The Lanes you see the funky side of Brighton and all its quirky and colourful hidden places. The narrow streets and winding alleys are filled with vintage clothing shops where you can find retro dresses, exquisite homeware stores, random boutiques, fudge shops and a warren of independent restaurants. Besides that, cool cafes await you, like Marwood Coffee where the coffee tastes as good as it looks.

Afternoon Drinks anyone?
